At Northland Dental, we utilize the digital iTero® 3D Scanner to gain a complete look at your smile and create your Invisalign clear aligners.
What Is The iTero Scanner?
The iTero impression scanner takes accurate, 3D impressions of your bite. This allows us to create a digital image of your smile, which we can access throughout your treatment, allowing us to make adjustments as needed.
What Happens During The iTero Process?
Using the intraoral scanner, we take a complete 3D scan of your mouth. You will be able to see what we see thanks to the image displayed on the iTero screen. This visualization makes it easy to discuss the progress and potential results of your Invisalign treatment.
We then use iTero's Smile Simulator to show you a complete 3D rendering of what your smile could look like at the end of treatment. Your scans are also used to create your custom aligners.
