Protect Your Oral Structures

Dental health goes beyond basic brushing and flossing, there are dental appliances which can be just as beneficial. Dental appliances are for patients that participate in sports, who clench or grind their teeth or who snore.

Dental appliances can help preserve and protect the oral structures, which can help the health of the entire body.

At Northland Dental we offer various dental appliances – such as mouth guards and sleep apnea devices – to help protect your dental health and quality of life.

Appliances For Snoring

If you experience the effects of a sleep disorder then you know that it affects your entire body.

When you aren't able to sleep deeply then you may not be getting restful sleep. This can affect your body's ability to recover from the day and repair itself. Over time this may begin to affect your overall health.

For patients who snore, their relaxed throat tissues cause the airway to restrict, creating the sound of snoring as oxygen is forced past.

At Northland Dental, we provide custom-fitted oral appliances to move the lower jaw and tongue muscles to open the airway. This change in oral placement can help to increase the airflow allowing you to sleep peacefully and undisturbed every night.

Custom-Fitted Mouth Guards

We offer custom-made mouth guards that fit snugly over your teeth to help protect your oral cavity.

Sports Guards

A mouth guard provides a barrier between your teeth and the soft tissue of your mouth to protect your smile from injuries that can occur while playing sports.

Night Guards

If you grind your teeth during sleep, a mouth guard will help protect your teeth from damage. Patients that clench their teeth may also find some relief by using a night guard.
