Oral Treatment Planning

At Northland Dental, the technology we use helps to inform oral treatment planning and make your dental appointments run smoothly.

Since we can display digital X-rays and scans on the monitors in our treatment rooms, we can show you any issues in your mouth and walk you through your treatment plan.

Our goal is to provide patients with dental care while making sure they are fully informed about their oral health.

We believe that dental technology and education are crucial to maintaining good oral health. Our dentists are committed to providing you with all the information you need to make informed decisions about your dental care.

CEREC Same-Day Restorations

CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) is a system that allows for the fabrication and placement of ceramic dental crowns, inlays and onlays in a single appointment.

iTero 3D Scanner

The iTero intraoral scanner takes accurate, 3D impressions of your bite. It allows us to plan your dental treatment in real-time, store data digitally, and create Invisalign clear aligners.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-rays use digital sensors instead of traditional photographic X-ray film and produce detailed images of the teeth and gums. This allows your dentist to examine parts of the mouth that are not visible to the naked eye.

Dental Lasers

In dentistry, lasers (focused light beams) can be used in a variety of soft procedures. They allow our dentists to perform dental procedures with less pain and fewer medical interventions.

VELscope Oral Cancer Screening Device

VELscope is a hand-held, wireless oral screening device that helps our dentists identify abnormalities and diseases in the mouth, such as cancerous and pre-cancerous lesions. Using fluorescence visualization technology, it helps your dentist see things that may be hard to detect otherwise.
